Chief Engineer certificate issued by the Maritime Qualifications Examination Centre (CMKE), valid indefinitely.
Training goal
Preparation for the Chief Engineer examination in the areas of:
- Marine engineering (reciprocating engines, power plants, materials science)
- Controlling the operation of the ship and care for persons on board (maritime law, environmental protection, safety management)
Requirements
Do uczestnictwa wymagane jest:
- Dyplom drugiego oficera mechanika na statkach o mocy ≥3000 kW + 12-miesięczna praktyka na tym stanowisku (6 miesięcy może pochodzić z praktyki na statkach o mocy 750-3000 kW)
- Lub: Dyplom drugiego oficera mechanika na statkach ≥3000 kW + dyplom starszego oficera mechanika na statkach 750-3000 kW + 6-miesięczna praktyka na statkach ≥3000 kW
