The Advanced Training for Ships Subject to the IGF Code is an advanced course for officers and crew directly responsible for operating fuel systems on ships powered by gas or other low-flashpoint fuels.

Certificate issued by the Maritime Office, valid for 5 years. Renewed at the Maritime Office after documenting 3 months of sea service on ships subject to the IGF Code within the last 5 years.
Training goal
To provide the advanced knowledge and skills required for the safe operation of ships using fuels covered by the IGF Code.
Requirements
- Ukończenie przeszkolenia stopnia podstawowego na statki IGF z ważnym świadectwem
- Co najmniej miesięczna praktyka pływania na statku IGF z 3 operacjami bunkrowania poświadczonymi przez kapitana lub starszego mechanika
- Alternatywnie: posiadanie świadectw z tankowców gazowych (podstawowy i zaawansowany) oraz 3-miesięcznej praktyki z operacjami bunkrowania lub ładunkowymi na tankowcach gazowych
- Wymagana 3-miesięczna praktyka pływania w ciągu ostatnich 5 lat na statkach IGF, tankowcach gazowych lub statkach z paliwami niskotemperaturowymi
