The Advanced Training for Ships Subject to the IGF Code is an advanced course for officers and crew directly responsible for operating fuel systems on ships powered by gas or other low-flashpoint fuels.

Training goal
To provide the advanced knowledge and skills required for the safe operation of ships using fuels covered by the IGF Code.
On completion of the course, the participant receives:
- a certificate of completion issued by the Centre
- a certificate of two bunkering operations carried out on the simulator during the course
To obtain the certificate from the Maritime Office, the following must be submitted:
- a certificate of one actual bunkering operation on a ship subject to the IGF Code (confirmed by a certificate signed by the master or chief engineer),
- the certificate of completion issued by the Centre,
- a certificate of the two bunkering operations carried out on the simulator,
- a certificate of the required sea service (min. 1 month),
- an individual application to the Maritime Office for issue of the certificate,
- a photo
