We provide qualification programmes preparing candidates for officer and engineer diplomas in international shipping. Training is conducted in accordance with STCW Convention requirements at the educational facilities of Gdynia Maritime University.
Management Level Training for Engineering Department Graduates – Second Engineer (Shortened Program)
Training preparing for the qualification exam at management level in the engineering department for maritime academy graduates with 7 years of experience.
Operational-Level Training in the Engine Department, Electrical Specialisation – Electro-Technical Officer
Training leading to the Electro-Technical Officer certificate on ships with main propulsion power of 750 kW and above.
Operational-Level Training in the Engine Department, Mechanical Specialisation – Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch
Training leading to the Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch certificate on ships with main propulsion power of 750 kW and above. Comprehensive knowledge of marine engines, power plants, automation and protection of the marine environment.
Auxiliary Level Machinery Department Training – Marine Electrician Certificate
An 8-week training program preparing for the marine electrician certificate. Includes required exam subjects and sea practice requirements.
Management Level Training in the Engine Department with Mechanical Specialization – Second Engineer Officer
Training preparing for the Second Engineer Officer exam on ships with power of 3000 kW and above. Duration: 15 weeks. Cost: 8000 PLN.
Management-Level Training in the Engine Department – Chief Engineer on Ships with Main Propulsion Power of 3,000 kW and Above
Training preparing candidates for the Chief Engineer examination for ships with main propulsion power of 3,000 kW and above. Duration: 3 weeks.
